Upcoming 3rd Grade Field Trip to Hunting Island

The third grade will be visiting Hunting Island on September 16th and 18th.

Be on the lookout for permission slips on Tuesday, September 8th.

The classes will be combining a field study in science as well as studying the

lighthouse to participate in a visual arts project. This is part of the celebration

of the 150 year old light house anniversary come this October.

      It is indeed a privilege to serve as your principal at Whale Branch Elementary School .  Our goals for this year will be both challenging and innovative.  Your support is imperative to help maintain a climate that fosters high academic excellence for all of our students.  I look forward to working with you and your child(ren) as we strive for excellence for every child. The staff  and faculty at Whale Branch Elementary School is dedicated to creating a school environment in which high quality learning and thinking is a top priority.  Our competent teachers, along with administrative and support staff, will collaborate to ensure that each child is successful. Knowing that parents form a vital link in the educational chain, it is our endeavor to stay connected by keeping you informedof new initiatives and current events throughout the school year.
I invite you to visit our classrooms, meet with our teachers, or even come and have breakfast or lunch with your child.  Let us know if you are available to assist us in supporting our children.
